Dr. Soheil Rostami
Dr. Soheil Rostami is a board certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon who grew up in Richmond, Virginia and is the youngest of four children. He graduated from James Madison University with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology and he subsequently earned his Master of Science degree in Physiology at Virginia Commonwealth University. Dr. Rostami was introduced to dentistry by his sister who is also an Oral and Maxillofacial surgeon and he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at VCU where he graduated top 10 in his class and was inducted into the OKU national honor society.
While in dental school, he developed a strong passion for surgery and completed his training in Oral and Maxillofacial surgery at VCU Health System. In his five year residency, Dr. Rostami obtained advanced training in a wide range of dentoalveolar procedures, including implant surgery, bone grafting and dental extractions. He also became skilled in general anesthesia and complex surgeries including orthognathic surgery, TMJ surgery, trauma surgery, and head and neck pathology. He has also lectured on various Oral and Maxillofacial surgery topics and completed research which was published in respected journals.
Dr. Rostami strives to provide excellent patient care by building a strong rapport with patients, understanding their unique needs and concerns, and providing them with high-quality care, support and compassion. He goes above and beyond to ensure that his patients feel comfortable, safe and well-cared for. Dr. Rostami has a huge passion for community outreach and volunteer work and has completed over 15 dental and medical mission trips in Virginia, where he directly provided care to a significant number of underprivileged patients. When not practicing surgery or volunteering his time, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, hiking, watching sports and his favorite TV shows.
